mamasa

Recently completed an identity design for a restaurant in Costa Rica. The word "mamasa" refers to a ceremonial 'welcome mat' that the islanders of Rotuma weave for visitors- the owners of the restaurant have Pacific island roots, and the town is on the pacific side of Costa. The atmosphere is to be a very relaxed, open-air space, with an American South twist to the menu. The town is a surfing spot and loggerhead turtle sanctuary, which the client wanted to inform the restaurant identity. *This menu is not finalized but has stand-in ingredients, prices.
